    Assistant settings

    The assistant uses your own free API key. It is saved in this browser only: never in the repository, and never in your synced notes.

    Privacy
    • Your question and any code you paste are sent to the engine you choose. Don’t paste secrets or anything private.
    • Chat history stays in this browser, per topic. Use the bin icon in the panel to clear it.
    • Free tiers change without notice. If one stops working, switch engine here.

    Sync across devices

    Your ticks and notes are saved to a secret Gist in your own GitHub account. Do this once on each device.

    1. Create a classic token with only the gist scope, and choose an expiry you’re happy with.
    2. Paste it below. It is stored in this browser only.

    What this can and can’t protect
    • A “secret” gist is unlisted, not private. Anyone who has its URL can read it. It holds only problem ids, ticks and your notes.
    • A gist-scope token can read and write all of your gists. Revoke it any time at github.com/settings/tokens.
    • Disconnect removes the token from this browser only. Your gist and your other devices are left as they are.
